suggest you read this page carefully and talk to your attorney
before signing anything. Right now, land owners in many
states are faced with a tough decision.
Many wind farm developers offer attractive up-front payments and
minimum guaranteed payments whether or not your land is windy
enough to construct a wind farm.
As the table above demonstrates in this 1000 megawatt project,
the fact is, that if your land is windy enough for a wind farm
today, as oil prices rise, it will be even more lucrative
tomorrow. Anyone who is worried they are going to "miss out" if
they don't jump into a lease today, is mistaken. If your land is
valuable as a wind farm today, it will still be valuable
tomorrow, if not more so, despite what anyone tells you to the
contrary.

The wind isn't going to stop blowing and the grid and high
tension power line system isn't going to shrink over the next
few years. If anything, power lines will be added and as they
are, your windy land will become even more valuable the closer
the power lines get to your
property. |

Oil prices rise and play a key role in inflation. Many wind farm
contracts with utility companies have an inflation index built into them.
In this calculator, you can change variables and see exactly how much money
you will make off a single wind turbine.
At Gold Pact Power, where we work with both land
owners and communities, we strongly suggest you consider the income examples
above and the immediate and long range future of your children and the
communities you live in. While reviewing the various options
facing a land owner in the above comparison, the first thing you
may notice is that we don't pay any up-front fees, nor do we
guarantee that we'll put a wind farm on your land. Our lease is
structured so that if we don't build within two years, you are
released from the contract and you can sign with anyone you
choose. Your windy land today will be even more valuable to them
tomorrow.
The next item you might notice is the huge difference in overall
royalties we pay to land owners compared to other firms. Within
the first year of operation, the total of any up-front fees and
royalty percentages other developers may pay are small compared
to the much higher royalty payment Gold Pact Power pays. In the
first example above, EVEN WITHOUT INFLATION INDEXES the royalty differences
are huge:
- During the first ten years of operation, land owners earn
$25,000,000 - $70,000,000 more with a Gold Pact Power
Lease than either of the other Developers pay.
- During the second ten years of operation, land owners earn
$105,000,000 - $170,000,000 more with a Gold Pact Power
Lease than either of the other Developers pay.
- During the third ten years of operation, land owners would
earn $85,000,000 - $170,000,000 more with a Gold Pact
Power Lease than either of the other Developers pay.
While these figures alone should be enough for a land owner or
community to make an intelligent choice, the real math starts
with how Gold Pact Power cares for the communities that support
wind power. We donate 20 percent of our net profits to your
local youth and family agencies, building new Boys and Girls
Clubs, providing free PCs for Kids (since 1983), providing
funding for schools and other agencies. These are agencies you,
the land owner and your local Gold Pact Power Regional
Representative tell us are important to you, your children and
your region's future.
While other Developers provide 'educational tours' of their wind
turbines, we put our money where our mouth is. Our books are
open for community review and the 20 percent is paid directly to
those agencies you, not someone else, YOU say are the
ones you wish to support over the term of your lease. In the
example above, that works out to nearly a billion dollars in
funds from the kWh profits from Gold Pact Power, or about half
of the price of the wind farm's total cost, paid directly to
agencies supporting your children, your grand children and their
children.
ONE BILLION DOLLARS is a lot of money compared to some
small up-front payment a Wind Farm Developer may guarantee
today. It is highly unlikely they will be willing to guarantee a
billion dollars once the wind farm is actually making money for
their investment groups and stock holders: their family.
And they have to report to their family the 50 ways they put
the screws to you to squeeze out higher earnings.

It starts with you and your decision to grab life by the teeth
and shake it for all its got. I've worked with you rug-rats for
30 years and whether you are smart or slow, good looking or full
of acne with a candy bar stuck in your mouth doesn't matter. The
outside of you, your appearance does NOT matter nearly as
much as what is inside your head and your heart and the amount
of cash in your wallet and the gleam and passion in your eye.
If you want it, you can have it, whether its a new car, a new
home (I bought my first home at age 19) or a better life for you
and your parents. By the time I was 16 I was already earning
more than my single hard working mother. I had $132,000
saved, in the bank at age 19. I hustled starting at age 10
throwing newspapers, mowing lawns, trimming trees and doing yard
work and any work I could get my hands on because I wanted to
not only make money, but be outside with time on my hands to
enjoy it.
STOP AND THINK FOR A MOMENT. What kind of life do you want? What
kind of future? What kind of family values are important to you?
If you like helping other people, I want to meet you in class
and then I want you to teach that class and become a leader in
your community. It doesn't matter if you are strapped to a wheel
chair or can do a 100 yard sprint in under 10 seconds. It
doesn't matter if you are poor and don't have a computer at
home. I will help you get one and then help you get one for
every kid in your neighborhood.
I will help you if you can help yourself by getting motivated
and getting out there, on the streets and helping other people.
Those are the kind of people I consider my friends. Those are
the kinds of people who are rich, both inside and out and those
are the kind of people who like the life they have created for
themselves and those are the kind of people that other people
like to have around.
Adults are a pain-in-the-neck. I know. So the best way to get
them off your back is to take charge of your own life in a
positive manner and tell those pesky adults to get lost. Tell
them that you have a successful business and then when they
stick their nose in your business, smile, be nice, and offer to
teach them a trick or two about how the game of life is really
played.
Take life by the teeth and never let go. Help others and your
life will explode with both meaning and money in ways you never
imagined. You will become a central powerhouse to both the kids
and the adults who shake your hand.
