...buy GPP power and save?

Of course you can.
We're saving a Planet and Saving Money.
That's the whole idea behind
Renewable Energy!

Here's a typical story:

A Gold Pact Power Field Rep, 'Roy' was negotiating with a city that wanted both power either entirely from renewable energy sources or at least a majority of it and power pricing that took the shock out of inflation in the conventional fuel markets.

Gold Pact Power answered the city with this:

  • We ask city officials to FIRST remember that Gold Pact Power is the only firm that takes 20% of our net profits and puts it back into your local schools, youth and family agencies, providing free PCs for Kids, occupational classes for teens and adults and hot meals and hot spots and PCs for seniors too - all free and we've run these programs since 1983.

Therefore, before you sign with any other firm, please do the math and you'll find billions of dollars in a GPP deal for your children. Any firm that can't or won't match that offer is second best.

  • The next topic is Reliability. GPP's CEO was an auditor and system designer for the nuclear industry, has written financial and operations software for nearly 30 years and was trained and has worked with teams from Edison, GE Wind, AC Delco, NASA, the U.S. Air Force, Mission Industries, Bechtel, Westinghouse and the IBEW. We have on staff, Vice Presidents with backgrounds in wind (20 years running wind farms), geothermal, hydro-electric, substation design, MIS-Billing and Customer Service, bio-fuels, hydrogen fuels, turbine manufacturing (to name a few - there are many more) - we know generating station technology.

Due to the inherent redundant design of a wind farm's multiple generator fleet, they are considered very reliable, whereas a large coal or oil generating station that goes down usually requires a scramble for power or a brown out results.

  • The next topic is Consistency (or avoiding brown-outs and black-outs): GPP was the first to pioneer back-up generators in all of our wind farms. These generators are capable of producing MORE power than the wind farm fleet. That means when there's no wind, the fleet of generators are running with reserve generators on stand-by.

GPP runs 100% bio-fuel in our stand-by generators, conforming to both 100% bio-diesel or ethanol requirements, as well as GPP-PF Proprietary Fuels, including the "Q-Form1" blends which burn clean, emitting zero carbon to the atmosphere, even when running bio-diesel and ethanol.

  • The next topic is Cost: All construction and operation costs are covered by GPP. Billing thereafter is typically set at 80% of regional pricing; i.e. $/KWh State Wide Average. In foreign nations paying the highest rates in the world (i.e. island nations), this discount can mean prices as low as 1/3rd of your current costs. While many 'alternative energy providers' charge ?MORE? for renewable energy and it is more expensive to set up, Gold Pact Power understands that over the life of the system, it will cost less and we pass those savings on to customers from day-one.

Most billing systems are multi-tier for residential and consumer billing and GPP can manage that for a city as well or provide software for a city to manage the billing themselves.

NOTE: the $/KWh price can be reduced further (less than 80% of the region), by:

    • Certificates for Power Credits students earn in classes.

    • City support and approval of additional renewable energy facilities, such as passive solar (hot black water heaters on roofs), community wind and solar, scholastic and public renewable energy events (i.e. monthly fairs), recycling and waste management, water conservation and construction oversight to insure well-insulated dwellings and commercial space.

Gold Pact Power tries to be very flexible and generous with communities that take an active interest in the environment and their own educational institutions.

  • The next topic is Inflation and insulation from conventional fuel price hikes and temporary spikes: All Gold Pact Power facilities operate with 100% GPP renewable energy. The 'fuel' side of our systems are 100% insulated from conventional fuel. The only inflationary factors that affect a GPP facility or grid are:

    • Higher prices for copper for transmission lines, transformers for substations, wood and steel for telephone poles and the cost of trucks to provide service: the fuel the trucks run on is GPP-PF and is not affected by the price of oil.

    • Higher prices for labor: since we hire locally, that's good for your community.

    • Higher taxes: we can't control that, although since we're paying a lot towards your Board of Education, based entirely on our profits, they might have something to say about raising our taxes further.

For the most part, GPP facilities are insulated from many inflationary factors that plague conventional fuel generating stations: that's the idea behind renewable energy.

  • The next topic is Billing:

Typically the 'substation' a generating station feeds into has two meters that are supposed to read within 3 percent of each other or they are re-calibrated.

The city (or utility) owns one meter and GPP owns the other. Based on these readings and KWh pricing, GPP submits an invoice and receives payment in 30 days.

This process can be set up several ways:

    • GPP bills the city where the city takes care of billing to customers.

    • GPP bills the city where the city takes care of billing to customers and GPP provides the software and the City provides the staff to operate it.

    • GPP bills the customers and provides reports to the city. In this case GPP is required to have meter-readers and they may have to be regulated by a 'higher authority' - a state or national government.

    • GPP bills the customers, maintains the transmission lines and provides reports to the city. We use Smart Metering MDM systems and have written financials for utility grade power, food, legal, banking and medical industries for 30 years.

This last method is the easiest way for a city to deal with power issues. GPP also encourages cities and private communities to consider GPP's ability to provide water and waste services, eliminating the need for city personnel, management and oversight, and generally providing superior service at a lower cost to customers.

Gold Pact Power is more than wind farms, in fact we started in the nuclear industry decades ago, but got smart and made the switch. Our specialists have provided decades of reliable customer service for and through companies you've probably already worked with.

In closing, we'd like to remind you of our first thing to remember. Do the math and make the switch to renewable energy today.

  • The next topic is Location:

Typically the wind farm and back-up generators are on the same site. In some cases, the wind turbines are 10, 20 or even 500 miles away. Gold Pact Power allows cities to purchase power from distant wind farms without worrying about incoming transmission lines, grids or power networks. A city can be virtually surrounded by GPP competitors who refuse to accept anyone else's power and Gold Pact Power is one of the few firms that can still light a city and tell the competition to 'blow'.

Depending on the existing grid, this can be divided into any combination of wind or GPP-PF based (or othr fuel) generators on each different site.

Regarding leases, we pay the highest royalties in the industry. If a city feels they have suitable land we're interested. If a private land owner has suitable land, in order to help an individual helping their community, we're even more interested.

Finding a site for wind farms in windy regions is fairly easy. Many folks just make it look more complicated than it really is.

    • Whenever possible, lines are buried: they last longer and aren't a visual impact.

    • Whenever possible turbines are placed out of view although one city in Kansas asked that they be painted like sunflowers.

    • Whenever possible, GPP works with communities to insure they can make the transition to renewable energy today and cooperates during placement analysis to insure the community is happy with their new project.

Other cities around the world are becoming self-sufficient.

    Why not yours?
